We understand that the families who find their way to our program come from all over the country, and geography should not stand between a family and the right puppy. We have placed puppies across the United States and have developed reliable, carefully considered options for families who cannot make the trip to our Illinois home for pickup.
Every delivery option we offer is chosen with one standard in mind: your puppy’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the journey.
Hand Delivery by Trusted Transport Partners
Our preferred delivery method for families who cannot pick up in person is hand delivery by one of our trusted ground transport partners. These are individuals we have worked with, vetted, and trust to handle our puppies with the same care we would. Hand delivery means your puppy travels with a person, not in cargo. They are held, monitored, and cared for throughout the journey. We have found this to be the most stress-free option for the puppy and the most reassuring option for the family.
Ground transport routes vary and delivery timelines depend on distance and route scheduling. When you reach out to us about a puppy, we will discuss what delivery looks like to your area and give you an honest picture of timing and cost.
Air Transport
For families in areas not covered by our ground transport partners, air delivery is available. When we use air transport, we work only with reputable pet transport services that prioritize the welfare of the animals in their care. Puppies travel in climate-controlled, appropriate-sized carriers with proper ventilation. We prepare puppies for the experience as part of our socialization work and ensure they are comfortable and settled before departure.

What to Expect on Delivery Day
Whether your puppy is arriving by ground transport or air, we communicate closely with you throughout the process. You will know when your puppy departs, receive updates along the way, and have a clear expected arrival time so you can be ready and prepared.
Have everything set up before your puppy arrives. Their crate should be in place, their first meal should be ready, and the household should be as calm as possible for that first arrival.
Your Puppy Arrives Ready
Brokers sometimes charge prices that are comparable to or higher than what responsible direct breeders charge. Given that, the cost comparison is not really about price. It is about what you receive for what you pay.
When you buy from a direct breeder who health tests, the price you pay reflects the cost of OFA certifications, genetic DNA testing, quality nutrition for parent dogs and puppies, veterinary care including puppy exams, vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping, professional sterilization of the nursery, individual handling and socialization every single day, and years of experience and education that go into every breeding decision. That investment produces a healthier, more behaviorally sound puppy with a lower lifetime veterinary cost.
When you buy from a broker, a portion of your purchase price is the broker’s margin. The puppy’s origin may have involved far less of the investment described above.

Our Commitment to Your Puppy in Transit
We do not hand a puppy off to a transport service and consider our job done. We follow up to confirm safe arrival and are available to you from the moment your puppy departs until they are settled in your arms. If anything comes up during transport, we want to know and will respond immediately.
