When a Havana Luxe Pups puppy goes home, it goes with our full commitment behind it. We have put years of work into building a breeding program that prioritizes genetic health above everything else. Our parent dogs are OFA certified and comprehensively DNA health tested before they are ever part of a litter. Our puppies are examined by our veterinarian before going home, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Every decision we make from pairing to placement is made with the long-term health and wellbeing of each puppy in mind.
Our health guarantee reflects that commitment in writing. It is straightforward, honest, and designed to protect you and your puppy rather than to protect us from you. We have always believed that a guarantee should say what it means and mean what it says. Ours does.

We encourage every family to read them before pickup day, ask any questions they have, and feel completely confident in what they are covered for before their puppy comes home. Deposit Policy
Go-Home Day Insurance Requirement
We are pleased to offer a 30-day complimentary insurance policy through Trupanion to help protect your new puppy during the transition to their new home.
To activate this coverage, you must enroll within 24 hours of taking your puppy home. This policy provides immediate coverage for unexpected injuries and illnesses during the first 30 days.
Failure to activate the Trupanion policy within the 24-hour timeframe will void this Health Guarantee.
Veterinary Examination Requirement
A licensed veterinarian must check your new puppy within 5 business days or as soon as possible. Please send us a snapshot of your vet report by email, text, or mail. Failure to do so will void this Health Guarantee.
What Is Covered
This pup is guaranteed against any health or life-threatening genetic diseases for the first 2 years of its life, excluding ear infections, parasites, coccidia, or other common puppy illnesses.
Replacement Policy
If a puppy has a health or life-threatening problem that is determined to be genetic within the first year of its life, we will replace the puppy with a comparable puppy when available. You will need to provide your veterinary report so our vet can review it as well. You may return your puppy or not, however you choose.
The puppy you are taking home is a loving, healthy little one and healthy as far as we can tell at this time.
Important Financial Policy
We do not pay veterinary bills under any circumstances. The puppy is yours after forms are signed and therefore your responsibility. If you feel unsure about the general health of your puppy, you are under no obligation to take them home. Your deposit will be refunded.
